You may choose from two plans for dental insurance, both offered by Delta Dental of Kansas: Basic Plan and Plus Plan. Both plans feature three provider network tiers: PPO, Premier and out-of-network. For the lowest out-of-pocket costs, visit a dentist in the PPO network. Search for dentists in the PPO and Premier networks at DeltaDentalKS.com.

Ways to save

  • Right Start 4 Kids: For kids 12 and under, both plans pay 100% of the cost of covered services, excluding orthodontia.
  • Select a dentist in the PPO network for the lowest out-of-pocket costs.

How to access your benefits

Members covered under a Delta Dental plan receive two ID cards by U.S. mail.

An easy way to always have your ID card with you is to register online and download the Delta Dental app.

Delta Dental Login Screen

Follow these steps to set up your account for the first time.

  1. Go to DeltaDentalKS.com/Member.
  2. Click “Login” under My Account.
  3. Scroll down and click “Create an account.” Follow the instructions to complete your registration.
    • If your card is delayed or not readily available, and you do not have your member number available, you may use your Social Security number instead.

Now that you have an account, you’ll be prompted to log in.

  1. Click “Login.”
  2. Enter your username and password.
    • You can also log in by clicking “Log in/Register” at the top of the screen.

If you forget your username, go to the Members page, click “Login” and then “Forgot Username?” If you have forgotten your password, enter your username, then click “Forgot Password?” to retrieve your information

Having the Delta Dental app on your phone allows you to manage your oral health anytime, from anywhere.

The Delta Dental mobile app is optimized for iOS (Apple) and Android devices. To download the app, use your device to visit the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android). Search for “Delta Dental mobile app.”

Features include:

  • Digital ID card – view and share your ID card from your phone. Save it to your device for easy access, including Apple Wallet and Google Pay.
  • Find a dentist – search and compare dental offices to find one that suits your needs. Save your family’s preferred dentists to your account for easy access to contact information for scheduling.
  • Cost estimator – Find out what you can expect to pay with estimated out-of-pocket costs based on your selected dentist, treatment and dental plan.
  • Coverage summary – Check your benefits and eligibility, view deductibles and monitor your maximums.
  • See your claims – Look up details claims information for your dentist visits over the past 18 months.

In addition to the two ID cards sent in the mail, there are more ways to access your ID card if you don’t want to carry it in your wallet, or if you need more ID cards for your family.

Your ID cards will always have the employee’s name on them, and all of your dependents on your plan will use that card.

Once you’ve registered and downloaded the app, you can access your member ID card in three ways digitally:

  • Save your ID card to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay – this gives you convenient access to your ID card right in your phone’s wallet.
  • Save your ID card to the Delta Dental app’s home screen – this means your ID card is available before logging in to the app.
  • Email – send your ID card to your dependents or dentist.

If you prefer or need paper copies, you can print your member ID card from your online member account at DeltaDentalKS.com.
