Once you're enrolled

Luminare Health, our medical benefits administrator, oversees all administrative aspects of your health plan. Capital Rx, our pharmacy benefit manager, oversees all administrative aspects of your prescription coverage.

You should have received a physical ID card in the mail

This card can be used for both your medical and pharmacy coverage. If you haven’t received your physical ID card, please contact the Luminare Health 24/7 customer service team at 833-932-3910.

Here’s what you and your enrolled dependents need to do:

  1. Review any information you’ve received in the mail from Luminare and Capital Rx since you enrolled. Share it with dependents on your medical plan and keep it for future reference.
  2. Set up an account with Luminare Health, the health system’s medical benefits administrator, to review claims and EOBs, access ID cards, view deductibles and out-of-pocket progress, access secure messages, and contact their 24/7 dedicated customer service team. (Every covered member age 18 and older will need to create their own account.)
  3. Set up an account with Capital Rx to find nearby in-network pharmacies for acute medications, view your claims history and see what you’ll pay for specific medications with your medical plan. Capital Rx will process claims for prescriptions and manage the formulary of covered medications. (Every covered member age 18 and older will need to create their own account.)
  4. The health system pharmacy is the designated source for maintenance medications and specialty medications. You can also use it, or any in-network pharmacy, for acute medications. Take time to go through our Pharmacy Resource Guide for details on how the pharmacy benefit works and how to keep your costs as low as possible.
  5. Confirm that you’ve received your physical ID card(s) in the mail and store them in a safe place for access throughout the year. You have one physical ID card for both medical and pharmacy coverage. Digital ID cards are also available on the Luminare Health and Capital Rx online portals.
  6. Understand how to use the provider networks for the medical plans to keep your healthcare costs as low as possible by using a health system or in-network provider. The network available to you depends on where you receive care. Be sure to use the correct network to avoid higher costs. Click here for our most up-to-date list of provider networks and to learn more.
  7. Save the Benefits Connection website to your phone by tapping the share button and choosing “Add to home screen.” This is your online benefits guide, available at your fingertips without the need for a username or password. Share it with your dependents as well.
