Use MyChart to help manage your care

When you receive care in the health system network, you can use MyChart, a mobile and web-based portal to communicate with your health system care team and see your records.

  • Schedule appointments.
  • Get urgent care with video visits.
  • Communicate with your care team.
  • Refill your prescriptions.
  • See test results.
  • Pay your bills and copays.
  • Request or share your health records.
  • Request and access records for minor children, aging parents and family members.

To use MyChart:

If you have a recent bill or after-visit summary, use the access code provided. If signing up online doesn’t work for you, ask your care team to help you at your next appointment.

How to add a payment method to MyChart

To update a payment method, you must have a balance to be paid. MyChart accounts with zero balance due will not display the payment update options.

  1. Go to Billing Summary.
  2. Select Amount Due or Other Amount. Choose Next.
  3. When prompted regarding how you want to pay, select a saved payment option or select New Payment Method. If you choose New Payment Method, follow the prompts to enter a new credit card or banking details.
  4. Choose Submit.

Use MyChart to refill prescriptions

Request your refill five days before your next fill is due:

  1. Sign in to MyChart and choose Medications from the main MyChart menu.
  2. Beside any eligible prescription, choose Request Refills.
  3. Choose next, ensure The University of Kansas Health System Southlake is selected.
  4. Confirm your delivery address and desired payment method.
  5. Submit your request.

You can also call the automated refill system at 913-588-2361 and follow the prompts.

Use MyChart to transfer maintenance medications from a health system pharmacy to The University of Kansas Health System Southlake Retail Pharmacy by May 31, 2024. 

Starting June 1, 2024, all maintenance medications must be delivered from the health system pharmacy to your preferred address (not a work address) or they will not be covered by the health plan. If you have been picking up your maintenance medications at a health system pharmacy, take these steps in MyChart to switch to delivery, using your smartphone or computer. Delivery is free through Southlake Retail Pharmacy.
